Our Story

Our family has connections to animals and breeding since many years back but we are a completely new breeder of Cardigan Corgis in the UK.

We are Ida & Elliot, we live with daughters Livia, Layla, Ivy and our Welsh Corgi Cardigan Ella and 2 cats in Southsea, England.

Myself, Ida, originally from Sweden, studied Animal Healthcare and moved to the UK with my oldest Welsh Corgi Cardigan Leo back in 2010. As a kid my family bred not only dogs (Dobermans and Dalmatians) but also Norwegian Forest Cats, Maine Coons and Arabian Horses. Animals, and dogs and cats in particular has always been my passion and I fell in love with the Welsh Corgi Cardigan and the temperament of the breed back in 2009 when I got my first boy Leo in Sweden.

My partner Elliot has always had a special relationship with dogs. No matter the temperament of the dog, happy, scared, angry dogs etc, they ALWAYS seem to gravitate towards him with a sense of calm. We jokingly call him the dog whisperer of the family. Whilst I was very much the one who introduced him to the "zoo" that is our home, he has found his own role as the head of our pack and Ella adores him.

Livia, Layla and Ivy all have a passion for the dogs, Livia's granny breeds Australian Labradoodles so she is actively partaking in the breeding scene whilst Layla wants to start a family business doing dog walking and Ivy wants to help with the grooming.

As a new breeder of the Cardigans, our aim is to breed happy, healthy, versatile and well-rounded dogs that are fit as both family dogs and working dogs.
